The Tire and Lube Tech is a key team member that will be responsible for properly aligning the wheels on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce while maintaining our high-standards of quality and safety.
What you'll do:

The Tire and Lube Tech is a key team member that will be responsible for properly aligning the wheels on the wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions we produce while maintaining our high-standards of quality and safety.
What you'll do:
- Operate computerized alignment equipment to align wheels to noted specifications, adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles.
- Conduct test drives to diagnose alignment issues and ensure proper performance.
- Perform inspection prior to Quality Assurance.
- Perform trouble-shooting of equipment as needed.
- Maintain compliance with Freedom Motors quality and safety standards, policies and procedures, and OSHA safety regulations and follow both written and verbal work instructions.
- Assist other areas as needed.
What you’ll need:
- Coursework beyond High School Diploma preferred.
- Previous experience with alignment equipment, understanding of vehicle suspension systems, and ability to diagnose issues required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
